TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's soccer team stormed back from a first-half deficit to earn a 3-1 victory over Little Rock on Thursday night, thanks to a dominant second-half performance led by Julia Thasaphong's hat trick.
Little Rock struck first with a goal in the 40th minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. But the Golden Eagles responded with intensity after the break.
Thasaphong equalized in the 60th minute, finishing a setup from Carson Arne to tie the match at 1-1. She wasn't done there, the sophomore forward broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute off an assist from Hanna Ernst, putting ORU ahead 2-1.
Just three minutes later, Thasaphong completed the hat trick with her third goal of the night, this time assisted by Savannah Spielman, sealing a 3-1 comeback win for the Golden Eagles.
The victory marks another strong outing for ORU as they continue to build momentum in the 2025 campaign.
