ALBUQUERQUE, NM. – The Oral Roberts men's golf program opened the 2025 season at the William H. Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Golden Eagles concluded their first tournament of the season finishing in 10^th place out of 18 teams, while Ben Gratzl shot nine-under par and placed third.
 
The UNM Championship Golf Course is a par 72 course that plays 7,555 yards.

As a team, ORU finished four-under par (291-278-291) and secured tenth place. Long Beach State took home the team title, shooting twenty-three under par (284-280-277). Emil Albers from New Mexico won the individual title, firing 67-68-68 (-13).

Sophomore Ben Gratzl fired 67-69-71, earning a third-place finish at nine-under par.

Jorge Sanchez shot even par (75-70-71) in his first-ever tournament as a Golden Eagle. Sanchez finished tied for 16^th.

Phillip Voetmann began his junior season firing 76-69-74 (+3), finishing the William H. Tucker Invitational tied for 62^nd.

Christian Johnson closed out the William H. Tucker Invitational with a score of five over par (76-70-75). He finished the weekend tied for 71st.

Gustav Liljeberg rounded out the scoring for ORU, shooting 73-73-79 (+10). Liljeberg placed tied for 88^th.

Sam Morris also played in the William H. Tucker Invitational as an individual, firing 76-74-81 (+15).
