STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's tennis team split a doubleheader against St. Joe's on Sunday in Stillwater, falling in a tight 4–3 opener before bouncing back with a 4–1 victory in the second match of the day.

Match One – St. Joe's 4, ORU 3

St. Joe's claimed the doubles point in the opening match by winning on courts two and three. The No. 1 doubles match featuring Ava Goodell and Cecilia Franzin was unfinished with ORU leading 5–3.

ORU responded in singles play with strong performances. Ava Goodell earned a 6–0, 6–3 victory on court three, Cassie Cervantes followed with a 6–2, 6–1 win on court four, and Natalia Perez Ortega added a 6–4, 6–3 decision on court five.

St. Joe's secured wins on courts one and two to even the match at 3–3. The deciding point came on court six, where Abby Wise battled through three sets but fell 7–5, 3–6, 6–2, handing St. Joe's the 4–3 win.
