Tulsa, Okla. / Fayetteville, Ark. –  Last week, the Oral Roberts women's tennis team completed a three-match road stretch, opening play at Tulsa before traveling to Fayetteville for a doubleheader against Arkansas. The Golden Eagles fell 7-0 to the Golden Hurricane and later dropped both matches of the doubleheader to the Razorbacks by identical 4-0 scores, leaving ORU's overall record at 1-5 on the season.

At Tulsa, the Golden Hurricane claimed the doubles point and swept singles play to secure the 7-0 decision. Ava Goodell and Cecilia Franzin earned a win at No. 1 doubles for ORU, but Tulsa responded with victories at the remaining doubles positions before carrying momentum into singles play.

In Fayetteville, Arkansas secured the doubles point in both matches of the doubleheader and clinched each contest early in singles play, leaving several matches unfinished once the team score was decided.
