MESA, Ariz. – Gustav Liljeberg claimed the 2026 Summit League Men's Golf Individual crown in a four-way playoff, sticking his second shot on the par five 18^th hole to seven feet, before sinking the winning eagle putt. He was sitting at even par over the first two rounds before carding seven birdies en route to a four-under par round three.
 
Liljeberg has earned an automatic bid into NCAA Regionals from May 18-20 and will find out his fate at 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday, May 6^th, on the Golf Channel.
 
NCAA Regionals will be played at six locations across the country: University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Georgia, Bermuda Run Country Club in Bermuda Run, North Carolina, Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas, OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio, Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon and The Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Arizona.
 
Longbow GC is a par-71 course that plays 7,050 yards. The average score over the three-round tournament was 73.10.

As a team, ORU finished eleven over par (292-295-276) and placed fourth in the nine-team field. The Golden Eagles carded the lowest team score in round three, shooting eight under par. NDSU won the team title, shooting five under par (286-283-278).

Gustav Liljeberg shot 70-72-67 (-4), winning the Summit League Individual Title along with Summit League Championship MVP honors.

Jorge Sanchez Gutierrez tied for eighth at one over par (72-72-70).

Christian Johnson shot 75-75-71 (+8) to close out the Summit League Championship in 30th.
 
Phillip Voetmann concluded the Summit League Championship tied for 40^th with a score of 17 over par (75-81-74).
 
Ben Gratzl shot 75-76 in rounds one and two before subbing out of the ORU lineup.
 
Charlie Mooney was subbed into the Golden Eagle lineup in round three, carding a 68 (-3) with just one bogey.
