TULSA, Okla. – Fresh off an individual Summit League Championship title, Gustav Liljeberg has been selected to compete in the Corvallis Regional of the 2026 Division I Men's Golf Championships, hosted by Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon from May 18-20.

The 2026 DI men's golf championship will feature 81 teams and 45 individuals beginning in regional competition, competing for a spot in the championship finals. The low five teams and low individual from each region will qualify for a spot in the championship finals. A total of thirty teams and six individuals will compete in the finals from Friday, May 29 to Wednesday, June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

Liljeberg claimed the individual Summit League crown, putting together rounds of 70-72-67 to shoot four under par on the week. Heading into round three, he sat two shots back of the leaders. 18 holes and seven birdies later, a final round 67 (-4) helped him into a four-way playoff where he stuck his approach shot to seven feet on Longbow Golf Club's par five 18^th hole, burying the eagle putt to seal the playoff win.
