TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts women's soccer team turned in a dominant performance Saturday night, defeating Rogers State, 3-0, at the Case Soccer Complex. The Golden Eagles improved to 2-0 following the victory.
ORU struck first in the 12th minute when Brianna Castleberry found the back of the net at the 11:29 mark. Addy Johnson provided the assist, giving the Golden Eagles an early 1-0 advantage.
Johnson then doubled the ORU lead less than seven minutes later. At 17:51, putting the Golden Eagles ahead 2-0 heading into halftime.
ORU continued to pressure the Hillcats in the second half, generating 16 shots while limiting Rogers State to just one attempt.
Marlee Fort capped the scoring at 64:37, giving the Golden Eagles a commanding 3-0 lead.
The Golden Eagles' defense held firm throughout the match, allowing just three Rogers State shots, including two on goal. ORU goalkeeper Alyson Sebban made two saves in the shutout.

- ORU controlled the match from the opening whistle, out shooting the Hillcats 30-3 and putting 15 shots on target.
- The Golden Eagles held a 10-0 advantage in corner kicks and controlled 69 percent of possession.
- Addy Johnson has recorded a goal and an assist in each of the first two games this season.
- This is the first time since Sept. 20, 2025 (5-1 win over Northwest Missouri State) that ORU has recorded 30 or more shots and 15 or more shots on goal in a game.
- This is the first time since 2018 that the Golden Eagles have started a season 2-0.
