Historic Start
- ORU is 4-0-0 for the first time in program history, following wins over Central Arkansas, Rogers State, UC Riverside, and Friends (KS).
- Redshirt Senior Brianna Castleberry was named the Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week after scoring in both matches last week. She leads the team with 4 goals, 8 points, and 15 shots on the season.
 
Getting Off on the Right Foot
- ORU has dominated their opponents this season, posting a +11 (12-1) goal differential.
- Goalkeepers Alyson Sebban and Sienna Hamilton-Grein have allowed just 1 goal this season.
- ORU's offense has been very balanced to start the season, as seven different Golden Eagles have found the back of the net. 
- Brianna Castleberry (4), Addy Johnson (2), and Amaris Hamilton-Grein (2) have scored multiple goals in 2026.

- This will be the 12th all-time matchup between the Golden Eagles and Mean Green.

Regional Recognition
- The United Soccer Coaches released its second Regional Poll this week, ORU ranked third in the west region. – Fellow Summit League member, South Dakota State came in at number 10 in the poll. 
 
Opponent Information
- UNT is led by John Hedlund, the winningest coach of any sport in North Texas Athletics history. Hedlund is in his 32nd season at the helm and has a career record of 408-169-55.
- The Mean Green have won two straight over ULM (1-0) and McNeese State (4-2).
- UNT is coming off a week that saw them nab two of the American Conference's weekly awards, as Claire Niedermeier was named Offensive Player of the Week and Sarah Margaret Seabrook earned Goalkeeper of the Week honors.
