2016 (JUNIOR)
Finished 6-9 at the No. 5 position in singles player her junior season at ORU...Went 4-10 in doubles play at the No. 2 position...Went 0-1 in Nationally ranked opponents in singles play...Went 2-3 in Summit League doubles play at the No. 2 position.
2015 (SOPHOMORE)
Finished 9-9 in singles action and posted a 4-2 record during Summit League play … Held a 4-3 record at the No. 4 singles position and was 0-1 against nationally ranked singles opponents … In doubles she posted a 6-10 record and earned five wins at No. 2 doubles … Claimed 6-6 (7-4), 6-2 win at No. 5 singles to help ORU to upset of No. 72 ranked South Dakota … Also won at No. 3 doubles, 8-2, to help the Golden Eagles knock off South Dakota.
2014 (FRESHMAN)
Went 6-13 in singles play as a rookie, with a 2-9 Southland Conference record... Earned singles wins over foes from Grambling, Sam Houston State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Oklahoma Baptist, Incarnate Word and Tarleton State... Won four of her final seven singles matches... Added an 8-7 doubles record, with a 3-5 SLC tally... Earned all of her doubles wins with Haley Martin as her partner... Won four consecutive doubles matches from April 4-12... Came up with SLC wins over Sam Houston State, Central Arkansas and Incarnate Word.
PRIOR TO ORU
Attended Colegio Panamerican in Floridablanca, Santander, Colombia... Was ranked as high as 2nd in the state and 5th nationally... Also participated in soccer and cheerleading.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Claudia Gomez and Sergio Puentes... Plans to major in business administration and international relations at ORU... Favorite professional athlete is Roger Federer.
