Competed in all six races in her rookie season ... finished 10th overall at the Bob Timmons Dual Classic ... ran a season best 6k time of 24:03.3 to finish 39th overall at the Summit League Championship.

High School
Qualified for the state championship in cross country all four years and earned MVP honors in 2014, 2015 and 2016, as well as most improved … holds the Brownwood HS record in the 3,200-meter (11:35) and 1,600-meter (5:20) events … also a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club at BHS.

Personal
Daughter of Jose Romero and Blanca Romero … majoring in computer information technology at ORU with hopes of being a missionary and working at a large company as a CIT … recruited by UTSA, Dallas Baptist and Texas Tech, but chose ORU because the school’s main focus is God.
