Redshirted the season.

2016-17 (Freshman)
Played in five of the six spring tournaments and was in the starting five for four of those ...  in 13 total rounds, held a stroke average of 76.0 and carded two top 20 finishes ... finished tied for 18th (75-71-75--221) at the Little Rock/First Tee Classic, and followed it up with a 76-69--145 (+1) in a tie for 17th at the Jim West Intercollegiate.

High School
Played for his grandfather Merlin Nippert at Mangum HS and is one of the first golfers from MHS to play at a Division I school ... ranked ninth in Oklahoma by Junior Golf Scoreboard for 2016 ... class 2A state runner-up in 2015 and was the class 3A runner-up in the state preview ... also an all-conference honorable mention basketball player.

Personal
Son of Doug and Lori Laughlin ... grandfather was a baseball player at Oklahoma State and the Boston Red Sox ... also recruited by Colorado State and UMKC.
