Filippos Zachiotis joins Oral Roberts with extensive coaching experience in player development, high-performance training and program leadership across the United States and Greece.
Prior to joining the Golden Eagles, Zachiotis served as Director of Junior Development at Bentwood Country Club, where he oversees the club’s junior tennis program and develops progressive training plans focused on technical, tactical, physical and mental development. He has also held coaching positions at Kenwood Country Club, Westwinds Tennis & Fitness, Rhodes Tennis Academy and Peristeri Tennis Academy, working with athletes across all ages and skill levels.
A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at Mount St. Mary’s University, Zachiotis was a four-year varsity player and two-time team captain. During his collegiate career, he earned 2022 NEC All-Rookie honors and Second Team All-MAAC recognition in both singles and doubles, while setting four school records.
Before competing collegiately, Zachiotis was the No. 1 junior player in Greece and ranked No. 33 in Tennis Europe’s Road to Masters. He is an RSPA Level 3 Elite Professional, USTA Certified Coach, USTA Certified Official and ITA Certified Official.
With his extensive playing background and passion for developing athletes, Zachiotis brings valuable coaching experience and leadership to the Golden Eagles tennis program.
