Indoor - Opened the season recording two top-5 finishes at the Bob Timmons Challenge, fifth in the 4x400m (3:27.87) and fourth in the 400m (50.03)...Placed ninth in the Mark Colligan 400m with a time of 49.69...Was part of the 4x400m team that defended its title winning with a time of 3:12.45, also placed 13th in the open 400m (49.63). Outdoor - Finished sixth in the 400m (49.33) at the season opener Oral Roberts Invitational...Ran a 49.26 400m on two seperate occasions, April 6 at the Louisiana Tech Jim Mize Invitational and April 13 at the John McDonnell Invitational...Was part of the 4x400m team that placed fourth at the Kansas Relays with a time of 3:11.26, after clocking in the fastest preliminary time of 3:10.91...Finished 18th in the Summit League Outdoor Championships 400m with a time of 52.55.

Indoor - A 400m specialist, Johnson ran 12 races in seven meets...Was part of the 4x400m team that won the Arkansas Invitational in 3:13.81, also placed sixth in the open 400m with a time of 49.02...Ran a seasonal best 48.69 400m at the Texas Tech Open, also placed third in the 4x400m (3:09.26)...Earned All-League honors at the Summit League Indoor Championships finishing first as a member of the 4x400m (3:14.85), also placed seventh in the 400m (49.75). Outdoor - Opened the outdoor season at the Tulsa Duels finishing second as a member of the 4x400m (3:18.28) and eighth in the 400m (49.37)...Ran a personal best 400m time of 47.65 to place third at the John McDonnell Invitational...Was part of the 4x400m team that won the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational in 3:11.87, also clocked a personal best 200m time of 22.11...Scored 10.5 points at the Summit League Championships earning All-League honors in the 4x400m (champion) and 400m (second).
