Graduated from University Christian School in Flowood, Miss., where he won the 100m and 200m dash state championships under coaches Phil Hannon and Steve Champion … helped lead his team to the state championship in 2011 and earned all-state honors in 2011 and 2013 … holds the school record at UCS in the 100m dash (10.67) … was a member of the honor society and chapel committee and served as the student body president … also played on the UCS football team for three years.

Son of Willie and Carmen Abston … majoring in social work at ORU with hopes of becoming a high school counselor and coach … also recruited by Mississippi College and Belhaven … came to ORU “to further my relationship with God and be in an atmosphere in which I can grow.”
