Nolan Albrecht

Head Coach Nolan Albrecht was named the 13th Head Coach of the Oral Roberts women’s volleyball program in January 2025 by Athletic Director Tim Johnson.
 
Before coming to ORU, Albrecht spent seven months at Liberty where he was named the Acting Head Coach of the Flames in May of 2024. Before being promoted to Acting Head Coach, Albrecht was an Assistant Coach for the Lady Flames, training pin attackers while scouting and game-planning for competitions. After the 2024 season, two of his players were honored with CUSA All-Conference Selections in Kate Gammer (CUSA 1st team) & Madison Blane (CUSA 2nd team).
 
Since 2017, Albrecht has been a coach and talent scout for the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program, tasked with evaluating and developing some of the best youth volleyball players in the USA.
 
From 2017 to 2021 Albrecht was the Head Coach for his Alma Mater, Belmont Abbey’s, men’s volleyball team. During his tenure, he coached three league awards winners - a Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, Freshman of the Year in 2019 and Co-Offensive Player of the Year in 2020. A total of 13 players were selected to all-conference teams under his leadership.
 
In his professional career, Albrecht qualified for 4 AVP Beach Pro Tour Main Draws, finished in the top ten 3 times and reached #1 ranking in the AVP Grass Volleyball Tour. During his collegiate playing career for Belmont Abbey, Albrecht was a four-year captain and led the nation in kills, kills per set and points per set. Albrecht finished third in voting for the "Karch Kiraly Award" awarded to the nation's best Outside Hitter.
