Tulsa, Okla. -- Anna Moreno became the ORU career assist leader tonight in a 3-0 ORU volleyball victory over Mid-Con foe IUPUI (30-24, 30-26, 36-34). Moreno dished out 43 assists tonight, giving her 3,234 assists for her career. The senior setter took over the top position from Debora dos Santos, who had 3,216 assists for the Golden Eagles from 1995-1998.

ORU (9-6, 3-0 Mid-Con) is now 85-3 at home over the past eight years and is 46-0 at home against Mid-Con opponents. IUPUI moves to 3-14 (1-2 Mid-Con) on the season.

Sophomore middle blocker Celeste Jones had a game-high .542 hitting percentage with 13 kills and zero errors on 24 attempts. Senior right-side hitter Patricia Menezes matched Jones' 13 kills and added eight digs.

Junior defensive specialist Keri Meyerson had a career-high 16 digs in the match. Sophomore libero Becky Dreher had 13 digs, while senior middle blocker Ivana Placko had a .316 hitting percentage with 10 kills and four errors on 19 attempts. Senior outside hitter April Syko had three service aces, four blocks and seven kills.

The Golden Eagles are back in action tomorrow as they take on non-conference opponent Drake at the ORU Aerobics Center at 2 p.m.

Other Notables: Patricia Menezes moved up the Mid-Con career charts tonight in kills. Her 13 kills tonight gives her 1,412 for her career and moves her into fourth place all-time in the Mid-Con.
