The Oral Roberts University volleyball concluded regular season play by defeating the IUPUI Jaguars 3-1 Saturday evening on the campus of IUPUI. The game scores were 27-30, 30-26, 30-21, 30-28.

ORU upped its record to 20-12 (12-2 Mid-Con), while IUPUI slipped to 16-14 (9-5 Mid-Con). With the victory, ORU reached the 20-win mark for the tenth time in the last 11 seasons.

Junior outside hitter Becky Dreher led ORU with 23 kills and also came up with 15 digs. Freshman outside hitter Cris Alves posted a double-double of 13 kills and 15 digs. Freshman Maura Cicala set an ORU season-high with 73 assists. Freshman outside hitter Ori Zuzic contributed 16 kills while committing just three errors.

Rebekah Pallikan led IUPUI with 25 kills, Tracy Bailey had six blocks and Tanna Smith totaled 59 assists for the Jaguars.

ORU returns to the court next Friday when the Golden Eagles begin Mid-Continent Conference Tournament action. ORU represents the second seed in the tournament and will again take on third-seeded IUPUI.
