The Oral Roberts University volleyball team defeated the
University of Arkansas-Little Rock 3-2 (19-30, 30-17, 30-32, 30-17,
16-14) Tuesday afternoon at ORU's Cooper Aerobics Center.
Leading the way for ORU was junior outside hitter Becky Brunelle as
she recorded a double-double of 20 digs and a team-leading 18
kills. Freshman setter Brittany Arnold set an ORU season high with
62 assists. Junior libero Becky Dreher had 21 digs.
ORU improved to 7-9 with the victory, while UALR dropped to 9-5.
ORU's next court action takes place 7:00 Friday evening when the
Golden Eagles take on Oakland University in ORU's first
Mid-Continent Conference match of the season.
