FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. �€" The Oral Roberts University
volleyball team saw its six-match win streak come to an end Tuesday
night, as Arkansas handed the Golden Eagles a 3-0 (30-22, 30-18,
30-22) setback in front of 589 at UA's Barnhill Arena.
ORU (17-9) only had one player reach double-figure kills as they
were held to a season-low .008 attack percentage. Outside hitter
Ori Zuzic (Porec, Croatia) finished the night with
10 kills, as she extended her double-figure kill streak to 17
matches.
Libero Cris Alves (Sao Caetano, Brazil) paced the
defense with 12 digs, and setter Brittany Arnold
(Tulsa, Okla.) had seven picks to go along with 10 assists.
Arkansas (17-8) was led by Denitza Koleva's 12-kill, 12-dig effort,
while Karla Crose added 10 markers and 8 blocks.
The Golden Eagles will put their nine-match conference win streak
on the line when they welcome Mid-Con foe Chicago State to the
Cooper Aerobics Center on Friday night. Admission to the 7:00 p.m.
match is free.
