TULSA - Admission to the ORU women's basketball
game vs. North Dakota State will be free due to the recent weather
that hit the Tulsa area. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. inside
the Mabee Center. Gates to the arena open at 6 p.m.
Food and beverages through the concession
stands will be available to purchase starting at 6 p.m.
An ice storm warning continues for most of
northeastern Oklahoma tonight. Freezing drizzle continues to fall
across much of the region. The storm is causing a number of power
outages across northeastern Oklahoma. Electric utilities said over
400,000 customers across Oklahoma are without power as of Monday
morning. Hundreds of utility crews have been working since Sunday
to restore power, but as more ice continues to accumulate on power
lines, the number of outages continues to grow.
