TULSA – After only a three-day break, the ORU volleyball squad (2-2) is back on the road, but this time, they are heading West. The Golden Eagles are competing in the PowerAde/Asics Classic in San Francisco, Calif., with their first match on Friday night at 9 p.m. against host-school San Francisco.

ORU begins day two (9/1) with a 3 p.m. match against Eastern Washington, followed by a 7 p.m. start time against Colgate.

ORU's match against USF will be featured on GameTracker, which can be found at www.usfdons.com.

The Golden Eagles opened their season last weekend at the Mizuno Invitational I in Houston, Texas on the campus of Rice University. ORU finished their opening weekend with a 2-1 record after falling to Lamar in their opening match of the season, but fought back to sweep Louisiana Tech and defeat Rice in a thrilling five-game win. ORU traveled to Arkansas on Tuesday evening and fell to the Lady Razorbacks three games to one.
