TULSA-Arkansas blanked Oral Roberts 3-0 in women's soccer action on
Sunday at ORU Soccer Complex.
The Razorbacks (4-0-1) led 1-0 at halftime. Kelsey Allison scored
the game's first goal just 9:12 into the half, on an assist by
Allie Chandler.
Arkansas took control of the match early in the second half.
Chandler picked up her third assist when Laurel Pastor scored at
52:49. Pastor picked up an assist in the Razorbacks final goal when
Tara Zika scored on a header at 63:54.
Despite allowing three goals, ORU (2-2-0) keeper
Amanda Wheeler
turned in a strong performance, picking up seven saves on 17 shots.
Arkansas goalkeeper Britni Williams made three saves to earn the
shutout.
The Golden Eagles next visit Central Arkansas, 3 p.m., Friday in
Conway, Ark.
