TULSA, Okla.-Led by two first half goals

Hamilton, the Golden Eagles cruise past Nebraska-Omaha 4-0.
The Golden Eagles (3-6-0) bounce back
strong after the tough loss to IPFW on Friday. ORU controlled the
game from start to finish; out-shooting UNO 20-8.
The first half belonged to Hamilton, who
led the Golden Eagles with two goals in the 20th and
30th minute, both assisted by junior Aaron
Douthit. The second half was more of the same, but this time it
was freshman Tom
Adams who scored twice to give the Golden Eagles a 4-0 cushion.
Adams goals were unassisted and came in the 83rd and
88th minute. Adams and Hamilton are now tied for the
team lead in goals with three each. Freshman Nick
Petolick earned his first career shutout and collected two
saves.
UNO (3-6-0), who will be joining the
Summit League next season, managed just two shots on goal. Keeper
Josh Christensen collected five saves and gave up four goals.
The Golden Eagles are back in action on
October 7 when they face Eastern Illinois on the road at 7 p.m.
