ELMHURST, Ill.-Sophomore Steven Roundtree has been named the
Summit League Player of the Week for his performances over the past
three games, including victories over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and
Austin Peay.
Roundtree receives his second career honor and first of the
season after averaging 19 points, seven rebounds and 2.3 assists in
three games during the week. In a victory over Austin Peay,
Roundtree scored a season-best 24 points, three off his
career-high, and pulled down 10 rebounds. With ORU trailing by
five, Roundtree helped spark a 21-2 second half run by scoring 10
points during that stretch. Earlier in the week against UTSA,
Roundtree scored 22 points while adding nine rebounds and three
assists. In a runaway victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, he had 11
points, four rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes.
