Golden Eagles Split Saturday Matches with TU & UAPB

The Short Story: The Oral Roberts women's tennis team split a pair of matches with Arkansas-Pine Bluff and the University of Tulsa Saturday at the Case Tennis Center.

ORU blanked UAPB in the first match of the day in a dominate 6-0, 6-0 sweep in all five singles matches. The Golden Eagles narrowly duplicated the score in the second match with 6-0, 6-0 wins in No. 1, 2 and 3 singles before sweeping the match 5-0.

The afternoon was not as nice to ORU as Tulsa blanked the Golden Eagles in both evening matches. The Golden Hurricane took a complete 7-0 win in the first match before a 4-0 shutout in the final match of the day.

Up Next: ORU makes a quick turnaround hosting former Southland Conference rival Central Arkansas. The Golden Eagles will start action from the Case Tennis Center at 8:30 a.m.
