TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's soccer team beat Central Arkansas 3-2 in double overtime Tuesday evening in phenomenal fashion.

The match was scoreless at halftime after both teams combined managed only six shots.

Central Arkansas found the back of the net first when Wes Carson scored for the Bears off of a penalty kick at the 55 minute mark.

Five minutes later the Bears made the score 2-0 when Krystian Sarzynski scored an unassisted goal off of a deflection from a previous shot.

Baptiste Vandeputte started the Golden Eagles rally with eight minutes remaining in the second half off of an assist from Colton Haskin and scored from 15 yards out.

ORU tied the game 2-2 at the 84 minute mark when Tyler Hill scored his first goal of the season from eight yards out off of an assist from Alex Harris.

The Golden Eagles took the game to overtime and Junior Chavez scored the golden goal in the second overtime period making the final score 3-2 with four minutes left on the clock.
