NORMAN, Okla. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team dropped its early match on Saturday as part of the Oklahoma Invitational to UMKC, 3-0, at McCasland Field House in Norman. 

A first set loss of 25-19 was the closest of the match as the Golden Eagles fell to 0-2 on the season. The Roos (2-0) took the second set 25-14 before closing out the match in the third 25-12. 

Laura Milos continued her hot streak to start the season, racking up 13 of the teams' 25 kills. Shelby Cox finished with five kills while Lucija Bojanjac assisted on 18 plays for the Golden Eagles.

- The Golden Eagles were outhit for the second consecutive day, .439 to .054.

- The team finished with 20 attacking errors compared to UMKC's seven.

- ORU did record five service aces on the day with two coming from freshman Katarina Mikulic. 

- ORU leads the all-time series with the Roos, 44-5.
