DENVER, Colo. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team was unable to slow down a potent Denver attack dropping a three-set match on the road (12-25, 20-25, 13-25) from Hamilton Gymnasium Sunday afternoon.

The Pioneers used an early 7-1 run in the first set against an injury depleted lineup for the Golden Eagles to take a lead and never slowed down.

ORU forced Denver into back-to-back hitting errors in the middle of the second stanza to even the score, 12-12, but could not even the match falling, 25-20. The Pioneers closed out their sixth-straight victory holding off the Golden Eagles in the third.

• CeCe Madison led the ORU offensively totaling nine kills, while Bri Greenlee added four.
• Greenlee recorded a solo block and two block assists and the Golden Eagles also got two block assists from Taylan Nero.
• Sylvia Lawson closed the match with 15 set assists.
• Inka Inkret paced the team with seven digs and Jeslyn Spencer ended with two service aces.
