ORU Drops Game at Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Okla. – The ORU women's basketball team fell 78-44 at Oklahoma State Friday evening inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Oklahoma State came out and went on an 11-0 run to start the game before ORU got on the board. The Golden Eagles went on an 8-0 run of their own to cut the deficit to three. Rylie Torrey and Keni Jo Lippe hit back-to-back three-point buckets in the run before the media timeout. The Cowgirls ended the first quarter with an 18-11 lead. The Golden Eagles shot 23 percent in the first quarter, while Torrey led the team with six points.

The Cowgirls went up by as much as 25 in the second quarter which was sparked by a 14-2 run. To end the quarter, OSU went on a 10-0 run to take a 42-17 lead in to halftime. The Golden Eagles shot 17 percent in the first half.

The Golden Eagles were out-scored 19-7 in the third, followed by a 7-0 run by the Cowgirls to open the fourth. Oklahoma State closed out the game with a 78-44 victory. Transfer Natasha Mack scored 20 points and 23 rebounds for Oklahoma State. Mack's 23 rebounds is a single-game school record.

Oral Roberts: Rylie Torrey had 12 points while Keni Jo Lippe grabbed 10 rebounds.

Oklahoma State: Natasha Mack scored 20 points and grabbed 23 rebounds.

- ORU got out-rebounded by OSU, 58-36.

- The Golden Eagles had a 23.1 percent three-point average.

- ORU turned the ball over nine times, but forced the Cowgirls to turn the ball over 12 times.

- Rylie Torrey scored 12 points with one rebound.

- Keni Jo Lippe recorded nine points with 10 rebounds and four assists.
