TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team will play its third game of the season against a Power 5 opponent when it travels to Lincoln, Nebraska, to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers from the Big 10 Conference Friday, December 4 at 6 p.m.
Due to Big Ten Conference policies and local directed health measures, the University of Nebraska will not allow fans inside

About the Opponent
- This will be the first game of the season for the Cornhuskers and the third time this season ORU has served as its opponent's season opener.
- Nebraska is coming off a 17-13 season that would have culminated with a trip to the Postseason WNIT in 2020, but the worldwide outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic ended the college basketball season before postseason play could begin.
- Nebraska's 12-player roster features plenty of new faces in 2020-21, with seven newcomers including four transfers and three true freshmen.

- Senior Keni Jo Lippe was named to the preseason All-Summit League First Team. She averaged 18.5 points per game along with 8.0 rebounds. As a junior, she totaled 575 points. She currently has 1,215 career points and is the 21st member of the ORU women's basketball 1,000-point club.
- ORU adds 12 newcomers to the roster. Eight freshmen, Corrie Anderson, Tierney Coleman, Tyaija Coleman, Hannah Giddey, Camryn Hill, Courtlyn Loudermill, Addisyn Moore and Faith Paramore. Two sophomores, Sinetra Jones and Bo Teulings. A junior, Ariel Walker, and a redshirt senior, Manaya Jones.
- The Golden Eagles are one of the youngest teams in Division I with eight true freshman and the average age of 19.3. Eleven of the 16 players on the roster have zero years of Division I experience, until this season.
- Head Coach Misti Cussen is in her ninth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles and holds a 124-124 overall head coaching record.
- ORU was picked to finish fourth in Summit League Preseason Poll.
