FORT WORTH – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team's dropped its final nonconference game of the season, 62-48, at TCU Tuesday afternoon in Fort Worth, Texas.
Turnovers plagued the Golden Eagles to begin the game, but ORU was able to break the scoring drought when
Keni Jo Lippe scored her first field goal of the game with two minutes to play in the first. Despite having eight first quarter turnovers, the Golden Eagles' defense held TCU to just nine points and trailed 9-5.
The Golden Eagles got down by as much as 10 in the second quarter and went into halftime trailing 24-14.
Sinetra Jones recorded four blocks in the second quarter as the ORU defense held TCU to 27 percent from the field.
After trailing early by 18, the Golden Eagles went on an 11-2 run to pull back to within nine. A four-point play by
Tyaija Coleman followed by a jumper by Jones brought ORU back to within six with two minutes to play in the third. Down the stretch, TCU went back up 44-33 to end the quarter.
Jones fouled out with 6:24 to play in the game and ended the day with five blocks and five rebounds. The Golden Eagles cut it to within 10 with eight minutes to go, but hot second half shooting continued for the Horned Frogs to win, 62-48. TCU shot 65 percent from the field in the second half.

Keni Jo Lippe scored 13 points and
Camryn Hill grabbed nine rebounds.
TCU: Lauren Heard scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds along with Michelle Berry.
