TULSA, Okla. – For the third time in four games this season, the Oral Roberts men's basketball team is on the road, this time heading to in-state foe Oklahoma State for a Tuesday night tilt on ESPN+ at 7 p.m.

Scouting the Opponent
• The Golden Eagles are 5-17 all-time when facing Oklahoma State, but 2-3 in the last five meetings after suffering an 80-75 loss in Stillwater a season ago.
• The Cowboys are off to a perfect, 4-0 start thanks to the play of its fourth-ranked recruiting class and AP Preseason All-American Cade Cunningham. The true freshman leads the team averaging 18.0 points and 6.0 assists per game.
• Isaac Likekele (11.0), Rondel Walker (9.5) and Ferron Flavors Jr. (9.0) are providing OSU with secondary scoring, while its defense has limited opponents to 37 percent shooting overall.

• ORU built a nine-point lead in the second half at Wichita State last Wednesday, but could not hold on falling 85-80.
Max Abmas totaled 28 points, eight assists and six rebounds, all of which were career bests, and
Kevin Obanor added 27 points.
• The Golden Eagles rank 18th in the NCAA hitting 11 3-pointers per outing getting 3.7 per game from Abmas, who sits 22nd in the nation individually.
• ORU continues to lead the league converting 75 percent of its free-throw attempts to rank 55th in the country as five players are shooting 80 percent or better at the foul line.
• Obanor (First Team) and Abmas (Second Team) earned Preseason All-Summit League honors and are ORU's top scorers combining for 41.7 points per game ranking in the top 50 for NCAA individual scoring. Abmas currently paces The Summit League averaging 21.0 ppg and Obanor is right behind him at 20.7 ppg, while
RJ Glasper also scores in double figures posting 10.3 ppg.
• ORU was picked to finish second in The Summit League Preseason Poll behind only defending regular season co-champion South Dakota State.
• The Golden Eagles have eight new faces for 2020-21 with two grad transfers (
RJ Glasper,
Justin Lovvorn), two junior college transfers (
Sheldon Stevens,
Kareem Thompson) and four freshmen (
Jonathan Alexandre,
Jamie Bergens,
Nate Clover III,
Ismael Plet).
