SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Keni Jo Lippe records her eighth double-double of the season as the No. 4 Oral Roberts women's basketball team fell to No. 1 South Dakota, 65-43, in the semifinal round of the Summit League Championship in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The Golden Eagles got off to a strong defensive start forcing the Coyotes to shoot 1-for-11 early and take a 7-4 lead. ORU then went on a 2:30 scoring drought, but maintained a three point lead. The Golden Eagles tied USD at the end of the first, 10-10, holding the Coyotes to 25 percent from the field. Keni Jo Lippe led the Golden Eagles with seven points.
South Dakota went up by seven with 7:22 to play in the second. The Coyotes started the second quarter out-scoring ORU, 14-0. Sarah Garvie broke the scoring drought with a three to cut the deficit to 11 with 3:55 left. USD ended the quarter on a 9-0 run and shot 62.5 percent to extend its lead to 35-15 at the break.
Rylie Torrey broke the shooting drought for the Golden Eagles when she connected on her first three-point bucket of the game in the third. Lippe scored her second three-ball of the game in the third to cut the deficit to 21 with 2:40 left in the quarter. South Dakota out-scored the Golden Eagles, 15-11, in the third and led 50-26.
The Coyotes continued its scoring run 15-5 in the fourth. The Golden Eagles went on a 14-0 run in the final period to close the gap and out-score USD, 17-15. All five seniors finished the final minutes on the court together for the last time. All eight Golden Eagles who played against the No. 17 nationally ranked Coyotes, scored in Monday's game.

Oral Roberts: Keni Jo Lippe scored her 10th career double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
South Dakota: Hannah Sjerven recorded a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
