TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's soccer team won 2-1 Friday evening against the Northeastern State Riverhawks in the team's final exhibition match to open the season.
Lucca Rodrigues got things started for the Golden Eagles with a goal in the sixth minute. Rodrigues shot through defenders and scored on the right side of the goal off a corner kick assist from Juan Arias.

Arias assisted again on the Golden Eagles second goal of the night for his second assist. Josselyn Petel scored on Arias' corner kick from the right side and scored over defenders on the left side of the in the 22^nd minute.

Northeastern State scored in the 68^th minute when the ball poked through defenders and Evans Wiggle punched the ball into the left side of the goal.

-ORU had 11 shots on the day with seven on goal. NSU took a total of five shots with three on goal.
-Miles Motakef played 66 minutes and recorded two saves. Patrick Consol played the remaining 24 minutes with one goal allowed.
