TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team will travel to St. Paul, Minnesota, Saturday, Oct. 2 to face new Summit League opponent St. Thomas at 1 p.m.

Quick Hits

• Last season, the Golden Eagles went 8-4-1, 6-3-1 on the season to finish third in the Summit League.
   
• ORU is currently 5-1-1, 0-0-1 on the season. In their last game, the Golden Eagles tied Kansas City, 1-1, at home to open Summit League play.
   
• Reed Berry and Dante Brigida were named Summit League preseason Players to Watch.
   
• In each of the first three weeks of the season, ORU had a Summit League Player of the Week selection. Players of the Week: Week one- Dante Brigida, week two- Jossleyn Petel, and week three- Felipe D'Agostini.
   
• ORU returns six of its All-Summit League Team members from 2020 which includes, Juan Arias, Reed Berry, Dante Brigida, Francisco Lopez, Miles Motakef and Josselyn Petel. Brigida was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Year in 2020.
   
• Dante Brigida leads the Summit League in goals scored this season with four and total shots along with shots on goal.
   
• The Golden Eagles were picked second in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll along with one first place vote.
   
• Head Coach Ryan Bush is back for his ninth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles. After five seasons, Bush has a 63-60-18 record at ORU as the men's soccer coach. Coach Bush was named 2019 Summit League Coach of the Year.
   
• Overall, the Golden Eagles returned 19 players and added 15 newcomers to the 2021 squad.
   

Opponent Information

• The Tommies enter Saturday's match with a 0-8-2, 0-1-0 record. The team fell 1-0 at Eastern Illinois to open league play. In their last match, the Tommies tied Western Michigan, 1-1.
   
• The Tommies were picked to finish seventh in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll.
   
• It will be the first-ever meeting between ORU and St. Thomas.
