OMAHA, Neb. – Dante Brigida scored two goals as the Oral Roberts men's soccer team defeated Summit League favorite, Omaha, on the road Saturday evening, 3-2.
In the first five minutes of play,
Dante Brigida netted his first goal of the game to put ORU up, 1-0. Brigida connected with the back of the net on a cross from
Reed Berry from right to left to score from inside the goalie box.
Francisco Lopez started the play with the ball down the sideline before passing to Berry. Berry and Lopez were credited with assists and it was Brigida's seventh goal of the season.
In the 14
th minute, Hugo Kametani recorded an unassisted goal and tied the game for Omaha, 1-1.
ORU defender
Josselyn Petel scored his first goal of the season and up put ORU back on top, 2-1, in the 37
th minute.
Felipe D'Agostini sent a free kick to the right post to Berry who then tapped the ball to Petel for the score. Berry secured his second assist of the game and D'Agostini earned his first.
In the second half, Mitch Hammer tied the game, 2-2, for Omaha in the 65
th minute.
Brigida recorded the game winning goal and his second goal of the game for ORU in the 70
th minute. D'Agostini passed the ball out from the right post to Brigida who shot a laser into the back of the net from 10 yards out. It was Brigida's eighth goal of the season and D'Agostini's second assist of the game.

- ORU had eight shots on the night with four on goal. Omaha took a total of nine shots with six on goal.

Miles Motakef played 90 minutes and recorded four saves. Motakef holds a 9-1-1 record on the season.

Dante Brigida recorded a brace and the game winning goal. It was his third game winning goal of the season and he continues to lead the league in goals scored with eight.

- ORU extended its unbeaten streak to 10 games.
- The Golden Eagles had eight corner kicks in the contest. ORU did not allow Omaha a corner kick in the match.
- There were 21 fouls in the match and three yellow cards were handed out.
