TULSA, Okla. – Aixa Vigil's 14-kill, 11-dig double-double paced the Oral Roberts volleyball team to a dominating sweep of North Dakota (25-17, 25-19, 25-14) Saturday afternoon inside Cooper Aerobics Center pushing the Golden Eagles winning streak to four.

After trading leads back and forth in the early stages of the first frame, ORU finally took control breaking an 11-11 tie. It was a 12-3 run that put the Golden Eagles in command starting when Jaxie Wakley found the floor on a swing. Five-straight kills coming from four ORU players helped close the set, 25-17, using a .364 hitting percentage in the opener.

UND built a 5-2 advantage in the second set only to have the home side quickly even the score as Trinity Freeman delivered a kill. ORU maintained the lead holding a 10-8 margin until the Fighting Hawks battled back. Facing a 13-12 deficit, the Golden Eagles turned up the intensity and scored the next six points as Sarah Thiessen kept UND off balance with her serve leading to three attack errors and kills by Jeslyn Spencer and Wakley. The momentum stayed with ORU as it moved to a 22-14 lead and ended the stanza, 25-19, as Sakira LaCour powered in a kill.

It was the strong serving of Rami Mose that brought the house down in set three as she started a huge, double-digit run on a kill to tie the score, 4-4. The senior pushed ORU in front, 13-4, hitting back-to-back service aces and the offense would not be contained getting a rare kill by Thiessen, the libero. Bryanne Soares added a kill capping a 4-0 burst that extended the margin to 17-5 and the Golden Eagles would not be stopped securing the sweep, 25-14.
