TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team begins a three-game home stand Tuesday hosting Rogers State at the Mabee Center starting at 7 p.m.

Quick Hits
• ORU rallied from a 22-point deficit in the second half, but could not complete the comeback in a 70-67 loss at Central Arkansas Saturday. Sophomore guard Issac McBride took over late in the game scoring 21 of his season-high 25 points over the final 20 minutes.
• Thanks to his offensive outburst Saturday, McBride took over the scoring lead for the Golden Eagles at 15.0 points per game. Six other players are scoring eight or more points per game as the team ranks 15th in the nation in scoring offense at 89.3 points per game.
• ORU is making 12.5 triples per game thanks to a school record 21 in its home opener against Southwestern Christian Nov. 12 and are seventh in the country in 3-pointers a contest.
• The Golden Eagles currently rank fourth in the NCAA pulling down 17.8 offensive rebounds a contest. Kareem Thompson and Francis Lacis are first and third in The Summit League in steals per game, respectively, as the pair are combining for 4.3 steals each outing.
• Despite winning the tournament title last year, ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League Preseason Poll, behind South Dakota State and North Dakota State.
• The Golden Eagles return 10 letterwinners, including three starters, and add five new faces for 2021-22 with two transfers and three freshmen.
 
Scouting the Opponent
• ORU has won all three prior meetings against Rogers State, including a 93-63 win last November. This will be the third-straight season the two teams have met on the hardwood.
• The Hillcats are a perfect 4-0 on the young season after claiming home wins over Randall (92-41) and Barclay (110-67).
• Devin Pullum paces three RSU players averaging double-digit scoring as the senior is scoring 17.0 points per game, while Joey Saracco and Brewster Peacock post 12.8 and 10.5 a game. Saracco leads the Hillcats pulling down 9.3 rebounds per game after a double-double against Randall.
