CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team won its final regular season game, 1-0, at Eastern Illinois Saturday afternoon.
Nathan Ndomba scored the game winner for the Golden Eagles in the 41
st minute. It was Ndomba's first goal of the season and he was assisted by
Eugene Quaynor.
ORU closes out the regular season with a 4-1-1 Summit League record. For the Golden Eagles to win the regular season championship outright, the team would need Kansas City to defeat Denver Saturday evening. If Kansas City plays Denver to a draw, then ORU would be co-champions with Denver, but would earn the No. 2 seed in the Summit League Championship.
