CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team won its final regular season game, 1-0, at Eastern Illinois Saturday afternoon.  

Nathan Ndomba scored the game winner for the Golden Eagles in the 41^st minute. It was Ndomba's first goal of the season and he was assisted by Eugene Quaynor.

ORU closes out the regular season with a 4-1-1 Summit League record. For the Golden Eagles to win the regular season championship outright, the team would need Kansas City to defeat Denver Saturday evening. If Kansas City plays Denver to a draw, then ORU would be co-champions with Denver, but would earn the No. 2 seed in the Summit League Championship.

- ORU had 15 shots in the game with right on goal. EIU took a total of seven shots with two on goal.
- Miles Motakef played 90 minutes and recorded two saves. Motakef holds a 10-2-1 record on the season.
- Nathan Ndomba captured the game winning goal for his first goal of the season.
- For the second time in three seasons the Golden Eagles will have 10 or more wins.  
- ORU had five corner kicks while Eastern Illinois had two.  
- There were 18 fouls in the match and three yellow cards were handed out.

ORU will compete in the 2021 Summit League Men's Soccer Championship that will take place November 11 & 13 at John MacKenzie Alumni Field in Macomb, Illinois. The Golden Eagles will either be the No. 1 or No. 2 seed.
