TULSA, Okla. – A red-hot Oral Roberts women's basketball team soared to their fourth-consecutive victory in the Mabee Center on Friday afternoon with a 120-52 victory over Central Christian College. The Golden Eagles shot 64.3% from the floor and 41.4% from deep in the matinee performance.
For the first time since February 23, 2019, the Golden Eagles poured in more than 50 points in the first half, dropping 63 on Friday morning. ORU had four players –
Ariel Walker,
Katie Scott,
Delaney Nix, and
Trinity Moore – all reach double-digit scoring by the halftime break. At the break,
Trinity Moore and Nix had both either matched or surpassed their career-highs for scoring at ORU.
The Golden Eagles used a pair of big runs to build a 34-19 lead at the end of the first frame. After falling behind 3-0 early, ORU rattled off eight straight points to take the 8-3 lead. After the media timeout, ORU closed the quarter on a 16-3 scoring run, highlighted by seven points from
Trinity Moore and five points from Walker.
Faith Paramore joined the double digit scoring parade in the third quarter, reaching a season-high 13 points by the frame's finale. The Golden Eagles opened the second half of action on a 17-4 run, featuring buckets from six different players during the stretch.
Corrie Anderson opened the fourth quarter with a three-pointer from the left corner for the first points of her collegiate career. Shortly into the fourth quarter,
Nena Taylor also reached double digit scoring, becoming the sixth Golden Eagle to do so on Friday afternoon. With another stifling defensive performance, ORU held the Lady Tigers to just 22 points in the second half.

Oral Roberts:
Trinity Moore led the way for the Golden Eagles with a career-high 18 points, three rebounds and an assist, while also adding a pair of steals.
Central Christian: .Cheyenne Marshall paced the Lady Tigers with 19 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- First time ORU has scored 100+ points in a game since Janurary 28, 2019 against North Dakota State.
- ORU tallied a season-high 28 assists on Friday. The last time ORU dropped 20 or more dimes in a game came back on February 23, 2019 against Western Illinois.
- It was the first time since February 13, 2020 that the Golden Eagles had six or more players score in double-figures
