TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team returns to the Mabee Center Thursday, December 16 at 7 p.m. against UT Arlington for Faith Night.

Kareem Thompson recorded a career high 12 rebounds in game at Missouri State. It is the fourth time this season and fifth in Thompson's career that he led the team in rebounding in a game.
Max Abmas led ORU with 19 points at MSU for his sixth-consecutive double-digit outing. In Abmas' career, he's had 58 double-digit scoring efforts.
DeShang Weaver had 15 points in Springfield, Missouri, for back-to-back double-digit nights.
• Abmas (21.2 ppg) and Weaver (11.2) both score in double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 26th in the NCAA at 82.0 points per game.
• Behind his season-best 38 points in the Mayor's Cup win over Tulsa, Abmas now ranks ninth in the nation in points per game and leads the country making 4.4 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 227 in his tenure. He is currently 17th all-time in scoring with 1,325 career points.
• ORU is hitting 12.8 triples per game to lead the nation thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in eight of 10 outings this season.
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 30th in the NCAA pulling down 41.7 rebounds a contest.
Scouting the Opponent
• ORU has battled the Mavericks to a 4-3 record in the all-time series, including an 84-76 victory in 2013 in the CIT when the teams last met. UTA is 1-3 all-time at the Mabee Center.
• The Mavericks are coming off a 56-47 win against Lamar Saturday extending a two-game streak. UTA sits 27th in the country in blocked shots per game while averaging 5.5. The squad from Arlington, Texas, also sits 27th in field-goal percentage defense holding opponents to 38.1 percent from the field.
• David Azore leads the Mavericks in scoring with 13.3 points per game. Azore is the lone UTA player averaging double-digit outings. Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu leads UTA in rebounds per game with 4.4 and is 11th in the country in blocks per game while averaging 3.1.
