TULSA, Okla. – On Monday afternoon, the Oral Roberts women's basketball team will kick off the 2021-22 Summit League slate against preseason favorite South Dakota.  After splitting a pair of games in the Lone Star State last week, the Golden Eagles come back home and look to protect their nest in the first of two conference games this week.

About the Opponent
  • South Dakota was voted as the Summit League preseason favorite. The Coyotes have made the NCAA tournament each of the last three seasons.
  • Three of South Dakota's four losses have come to ranked opponents or teams who were receiving votes in the Top 25 poll, including a loss to #1/1 South Carolina.
  • The Coyotes come in on  a five game winning streak with wins over Pitt, Wichita State, and Creighton during the stretch.
  • South Dakota has rattled off 15 straight victories over the Golden Eagles, including three in the 2020-21 season.

  • Lippe leads the Summit League at the free throw line, hitting 86.5% of her attempts this season.
  • Delaney Nix has knocked down 23 triples this season, the fifth-highest total in the conference.
  • As a team, the Golden Eagles have hit 167 free throws this season, which ranks 10th nationally.
