TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team will compete in its second Summit League contest of the week with a trip to South Dakota State Wednesday Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. inside Frost Arena in Brookings, South Dakota.

Max Abmas was the nation's highest scorer on December 20 recording 32 points at South Dakota. Abmas went 50 percent overall and from the three-point line in the league opener. It was the second time this season and ninth time in his career he's recorded 30-plus points in a game. He played all 40 minutes at South Dakota.
• Abmas (21.3 ppg) and Weaver (11.0) both score in double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 26th in the NCAA at 81.1 points per game.
• Behind his season-best 38 points in the Mayor's Cup win over Tulsa, Abmas now ranks 7th in the nation in points per game and is third the country making 4.3 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 234 in his tenure. He is currently 14th all-time in scoring with 1,368 career points.
• ORU is hitting 12.8 triples per game, second in the nation, thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in 10 of 12 outings this season.
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 43rd in the NCAA pulling down 40.5 rebounds a contest.

• ORU has battled the Jackrabbits to an 11-17 record in the all-time series, including an 90- 88 win when the teams last met in the Summit League semifinal. ORU is 3-9 all-time at in Brookings.
• The Jacks are coming off an 89-57 win against Kansas City Monday to open Summit League play. SDSU sits 9th in the country in field-goal percentage and third in scoring offense. The squad from Brookings, South Dakota, also sits 3rd in total rebounds and 9th in field-goal percentage defense.
• Baylor Scheierman is second in the nation and leads the Summit League in defensive rebounds per game. Noah Freidel is second in the league in points per game at 18.0. Douglas Wilson ranks 11th in the nation in total free-throws made.
• South Dakota State is currently ranked No. 16 in the latest Mid-Major Madness poll.
