DENVER – The No. 24 Oral Roberts men's soccer team's defense hammered the Denver Pioneers by only allowing one shot on goal in the Golden Eagles' 1-0 win Saturday afternoon in Denver, Colorado.

The Golden Eagle defense did not allow a shot on goal in the first half as the back line continued to show why it is one of the best in the country. ORU took five shots in the first half with three on goal. The teams were scoreless after the first 45 minutes.
 
Reed Berry recorded his fourth goal of the season in the 59^th minute to give ORU a 1-0 lead. Berry received the ball from Eugene Quaynor and then shot from the right side, 18 yards out, off the post and in. Quaynor was credited with the assist, his fourth of the season.
 
ORU's defense continued to hold strong through the remainder of the game and only gave up one shot on goal that was saved by Miles Motakef. It was Motakef's 14^th save of the season.
