TULSA, Okla. – On a warm Thursday evening, the Oral Roberts women's soccer team (2-0-1) stayed red-hot with a 3-0 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-0) at the Case Soccer Complex. The team with the nation's third-highest assist total added four more assists in the contest.
 
Pamela Caballeros picked up where she left off against Arkansas – Pine Bluff, adding her third and fourth goals of the season on Thursday. Caballeros opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a right footed goal with assists from Samantha Guzman and Samantha See.
 
Just before halftime, See added her second goal of the season with Sophie Nash picking up her first collegiate assist.
 
With 31 seconds remaining in regulation, Caballeros added her second goal of the game on a rebound from an Alex Shatswell shot. Caballeros is now tied atop the Summit League goal leaders.
 
The Golden Eagles played a stout defense against Northwestern Oklahoma State, allowing just two shots with neither hitting the post.

Notables

• 2-0-1 marks ORU's best start to a season since 2015, when they also started 2-0-1.
• Louisa Ramsauer picked up the second complete game shutout of the season.
• Ramsauer has now gone 197:16 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal.
• 27 different Golden Eagles made appearances on Thursday night.
• Every player who tallied a point for ORU came off the bench.
• See and Guzman are tied for the Summit League lead with three assists apiece.
