Quick Hits

• Last season, the Golden Eagles went 8-4-1, 6-3-1 on the season to finish third in the Summit League.
   
• ORU opened the season at home against No. 16 Loyola Marymount and fell to the Lions, 3-1.
   
• Reed Berry and Dante Brigida were named Summit League preseason Players to Watch.
   
• ORU returns six of its All-Summit League Team members which includes, Juan Arias, Reed Berry, Dante Brigida, Francisco Lopez, Miles Motakef and Josselyn Petel. Brigida was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Year in 2020.
   
• The Golden Eagles were picked second in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll along with one first place vote.
   
• Head Coach Ryan Bush is back for his ninth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles. Bush holds a 58-60-17 record at ORU as the men's soccer coach. Coach Bush was named 2019 Summit League Coach of the Year.
   
• Overall, the Golden Eagles returned 19 players and added 15 newcomers to the 2021 squad.

• UTRGV opened the season on the road at Central Arkansas and fell to the Bears, 4-3.
   
• The Vaqueros were picked to finish fifth in the WAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
