SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team (2-2-1) lost in heartbreaking fashion on Thursday night as Missouri State (2-2-1) scored the game-winner in the final ten minutes of action.
After a scoreless first half, the Bears struck first in the 50th minute and took a 1-0 lead. Just nine minutes later,
Kennedy Langebartels evened the score at one apiece when she net her second goal of the season. After a beautiful pass from
Pamela Caballeros, Langebartels buried the shot just inside the right post to tie things up.
In the 82nd minute, Missouri State got a lucky bounce inside the six yard box that managed to sneak inside the post to take a 2-1 lead. Despite their best efforts late, the Golden Eagles were unable to find the net again, eventually falling 2-1.

- Langebartels scored her second goal of the season, while Caballeros added her second assist.
- With the assist, Caballeros becomes the first Golden Eagle to reach double-digit points this season.
- ORU and Missouri State both took 12 shots and landed six shots on goal in the match.
