 • Max Abmas was named Summit League Player of the Week for the second time in consecutive weeks after his performances at St. Thomas and Western Illinois. Abmas scored a combined 70 points and had a double-double with a career high 11 assists at WIU. He matched his season high with 38 points at St. Thomas.
 
• Abmas (22.9 ppg) and Issac McBride (10.2 ppg) average double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 13th in the NCAA at 82.8 points per game.  
 
• Behind two 38-point outings this season, Abmas now ranks 3rd in the nation in points per game and is 2nd in the country making 4.12 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 253 in his tenure. He is currently 10th all-time in scoring with 1,501 career points.
 
• ORU is hitting 12.5 triples per game, second in the nation, thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in 14 of 17 outings this season.
 
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 20th in the NCAA pulling down 41.1 rebounds a contest and 11th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (29.8).

• This will be the 37th all-time meeting between ORU and Kansas City. The Golden Eagles are 12-4 on the road in Kansas City. ORU has won 15 of its last 16 against the Roos. In their last meeting, Kansas City upset ORU, 81-76, at the Mabee Center on January 24, 2021.
 
• The Roos are currently on a three game winning streak, with two being against league opponents. Kansas City has beaten South Dakota, 68-57, and Omaha, 64-61. In their previous game, the Roos defeated Baptist Bible, 98-57.
 
• Kansas City has three players averaging double-digits, Evan Gilyard II (12.6), Josiah Allick (11.7) and Arkel Lamar (11.5). The Roos are 21st in the nation in three-point field goal defense and 19th in forcing turnovers.
