TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team looks to take on the North Dakota State Bison Saturday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. inside the friendly confines of the Mabee Center.
Saturday's game will be Military and First Responders Night. Those who have served or currently serve in the military or as a first responder, and can show proof of service will receive up to four (4) free tickets to the game.

Max Abmas led the Golden Eagles with 19 points in ORU's last game against North Dakota. It was the eighth-straight game for Abmas to lead in scoring and his 15th consecutive game with 10 or more points.
• Abmas (22.9 ppg),
Issac McBride (10.2 ppg),
Trey Phipps (10.1 ppg) and
DeShang Weaver (10.1 ppg) all average double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 10th in the NCAA at 82.7 points per game. ORU has seven players who have scored 100-plus points this season.
• Behind two 38-point outings this season, Abmas now ranks 4th in the nation in points per game and is 2nd in the country making 4.17 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 262 in his tenure. He is currently 10th all-time in scoring with 1,546 career points.
• ORU is hitting 12.4 triples per game, which is 2nd in the nation, thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in 15 of 19 outings this season.
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 19th in the NCAA pulling down 40.6 rebounds a contest and 8th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (29.7).
Scouting the Opponent
• This will be the 33rd all-time meeting between ORU and North Dakota State. The Golden Eagles trail the series, 15-17, but are 9-3 at home. ORU has won the past two games against the Bison In their last meeting, ORU defeated NDSU, 75-72, in the finale of the Summit League Championship on March 9, 2021.
• The Bison are currently on a two game losing streak, with their most recent game at Kansas City resulting in an 80-77 loss. NDSU was picked to finish second in the Summit League Preseason Poll.
• North Dakota State has three players averaging double-digits, Rocky Kreuser (16.2 ppg), Grant Nelson (12.7 ppg) and Sam Griesel (12.0 ppg). The Bison are 26th in the nation in defensive rebounding and Kreuser ranks No. 54 in pulling defensive rebounds.
