Max Abmas led the Golden Eagles with 18 points in ORU's last game against North Dakota State. It was the ninth-straight game for Abmas to lead in scoring and his 16th consecutive game with 10 or more points.
 
• Abmas (22.6 ppg), Issac McBride (10.5 ppg) and Trey Phipps (10.0 ppg) all average double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 10th in the NCAA at 82.1 points per game. ORU has seven players who have scored 100-plus points this season.
 
• Behind two 38-point outings this season, Abmas now ranks 4th in the nation in points per game and is 3rd in the country making 4.05 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 264 in his tenure. He is currently 10th all-time in scoring with 1,564 career points.
 
• ORU is hitting 12.2 triples per game, which is 3rd in the nation, thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in 15 of 20 outings this season.
 
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 18th in the NCAA pulling down 40.6 rebounds a contest and 6th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (29.8). 
 
Scouting the Opponent
 
 • This will be the 22nd all-time meeting between ORU and Omaha. The Golden Eagles lead the series, 13-4 and are 5-3 in Nebraska. ORU has won the past five games against the Mavericks In their first meeting this season at the Mabee Center, ORU defeated Omaha, 107- 62. It was the second largest margin of victory over a league in program history.
 
• The Mavericks are currently on a five game losing streak, with their most recent game at Denver resulting in a 94-63 loss.
 
• The team has two league wins over Western Illinois and North Dakota at home this season.
 
• Omaha has two players averaging double-digits, Nick Ferrarini (10.4 ppg) and Felix Lemetti (10.1 ppg). The Mavericks are 81st in the country in free-throw percentage.
